Quote Don Ravioli: 'Also said newham council offered us bus garage to develop Upton Park but this deal was dependant on having the Olympic stadium that’s how long it’s been going on for. '

That makes no sense at all. Newham Council offered the club the bus garage to develop Upton Park. Why? For a car park? Superstore, office space?

Re: Takeover?
Only passing on what I’ve been told, fella doing the talking was close to Brady.
We’ll soon see I suppose, hopefully it’s true. Gonna be a dodgy, long three years if it is true

Re: Takeover?
So you agree to buy a car for £10,000 and 25,000 miles on it and do the deal.

Three years after paying over the dosh you go and pick up your £3,000, 100,000 shitbox old smoker that hasn't had a service, wiper change or clean in three years because the seller pocketed the money and still got to keep the car.

If any potential new owner agreed to this, I don't fucking want them.

That’s all good, only trouble with that is we’ll be in league 2 by 2021 if these’s fucking cunts stay in charge

Re: Takeover?
Course it’s bullshit. Like anyone’s agreeing a deal like that 3 years in advance for fucks sake.

Billy
Mate of mine heard a rumour that there is a deal that’s already done. But can’t be finalised till 2021. Apparently new lot are gonna sort stadium and pump a lot of money in for players.
Also said newham council offered us bus garage to develop Upton Park but this deal was dependant on having the Olympic stadium that’s how long it’s been going on for.
Hopefully not bullshit. Would explain why they’re not spending anything.
3 years and counting

Isn't it sad that as alleged fans of our club they wouldn't entertain anything to enhance us as a force ?
They know a good deal when they see it...they are bleeding us dry yet refuse new cash injections...UTTER CUNTS

Re: Takeover?
Apparently Tabor recently enquired looking to invest (clear the debt and 200m in to enhance the squad from him and his associates) and was given short shrift. Supposedly they wont consider it until the stadium's ownership is sorted (and their long game financial motivations are realised).

Can't help thinking the tax payer might be a little disappointed with selling the SH at a knock down price.

Re: Takeover?
I have heard from a brilliant source that there is a big Consortium that includes The Chuckle brothers Richard Digance and half the singers from band aid.

Apparently The Chuckle brothers and Digance say they could not buy a laugh for many years and that buying West ham would surely get the laughs going, whilst the singers from Band aid who had all been to Yemen and Syria and saw the terrible human tragedy up close said in a joint statement .
''Whilst the terrible and evil that is happening in both Yemen and Syria have haunted our hearts and minds nothing prepared us after seeing the fear in a Jesus lookalike West ham fans eye's as he tried to run past his footballing hero only to be tackled and hit by him, screamed at too, as for the bald man with the flag when the second goal went in we have all been traumatised by those pictures, he was obviously going through mental torture as were many other West ham fans. Our thoughts are with them and we will be putting in a bid with The Chuckle fellows and Richard Digance, who by the way is a Hammers fan too, he looks like absolute shit because of the goings on at his beloved club, although most of us have not seen him since 1985 and it might be because of that, not sure''

Re: Takeover?
These 2 are not going to sell up, their plan is to get the stadium for free or at a knock down price.
The only way they will sell before is if a silly bid is made.
I reckon they will only go when they know they will walk away with a min of 200m profit.

I feel the worst for this club, can’t see us getting back up if we go down, well not with the team we have now.

You never heard this, but a consortium lead by the Korean brothers Lee Kim and Kim Lee are interested allegedly.

Re: Takeover?
Any new owner with the gumption to knock it down and replace it with a proper football stadium that reminds everyone of the Boleyn Ground is not only going to see a massive ROI but is going to be feted all over the East End and Essex like the second coming of Bobby Moore and Elvis.

It's probably the biggest no-brainer crock of gold just waiting to be claimed in football today.

Spandex Sidney 2:41 Sat Mar 17
Re: Takeover?
I'd imagine there would be a political appetite to sell the stadium given the controversy it has attracted. No one is going to buy it though to knock it down.
